Inbound and their importance in search engine optimisation (SEO) has long been a re-discussed issue. Therefore, in this article I was going to tell you more about what links are in, and find out how important they really are for a successful SEO work.
What are links?
In the SEO world, you usually talk a lot about inbound and outbound links. To briefly describe the links, it is simply links that point to your site from another site. Links are just the opposite – links pointing from your site to someone else’s.
Are Links Important For SEO?
As mentioned earlier, links have long been a hot topic in SEO. The reason for this is because links have historically been one of Google’s foremost ranking factors.
In other words, one of the most important factors that determines whether a site is positioned among search results.
It all began during the early years of the search giant, during which Google’s founder Sergey Brin and Larry Page developed and patented a mathematical formula named PageRank (PA) .
